Getting Ready To Ride.
When you ride, please be friendly and display a good attitude. Arrive at least 15 minutes
prior to ride start time, so you are ready to ride on time.
Before the ride, you must sign the waiver form, unless you are a Member of the BCCClub.
Please carry proper identification and personal emergency contact phone numbers.
You must wear a properly fitted and fastened helmet at all times while
cycling. No matter how hot it gets, keep that helmet on your head. Please following these
basic
equipment recommendations.
You must obey all laws and all relevant aspects of the California Motor Vehicle Code.
Please follow the basic
rules for safe cycling
...Ride to the right; Single file; Stop at all stop signs and red signals;
Protect and warn one another about road hazards and traffic; Don't overlap wheels; Practice
safe pace line
and group riding etiquette. Please make sure you have breakfast and remember to bring a snack

How much you ride each week is up to you. If you plan on training for a specific cycling event, here

training information.
As we approach the rainy season, the best way to determine if our rides are “on / off”, is by
looking outside. If it is raining or if the streets have puddles from the night before, the ride
is off!
