Beach Cities Cycling Club of Southern California

WHO:	BCCClub is like most cycling clubs, in which we promote health, fitness, friendship and those little endorphins. But our real strengths are we encourage a less competitive atmosphere and create opportunities to give back through cycling.
WHAT:	Beach Cities Cycling Club is a road riding club based in Redondo Beach, California. We do our best to create a safe and nurturing environment for new cyclists, as well as providing challenges for intermediate cyclists of all ages, 18 and above.
WHERE:	Most rides depart from the Catalina Coffee Company on Catalina Avenue in Redondo Beach. For ride start locations Click Here. With group rides as short as 18 miles and as long as 67 miles, Beach Cities Cycling Club features rides for everyone from beginners to experienced cyclists. WHEN:	The usually awesome Southern California weather allows Beach Cities Cycling rides year round. Rides are scheduled almost every Saturday & Sunday. Saturday features a longer and more challenging ride, starting at 8:00am. Sunday features a shorter recovery and social ride, starting at 9:00am. Rides vary, so be sure to confirm ride routes and departure time on the Calendar.
WHY:	Because it's more fun to ride with others, Beach Cities Cycling Club members help each other stay fit, reach personal goals and have fun! The club also likes to help others. We support charities including Best Buddies, MS, The Leukemia Lymphoma Society and 1736 Family Crisis Center.
HOW:	Beach Cities Cycling Club is welcoming new members from the South Bay and Beyond. - For new members, it's important to have a well tuned street ready bike. It's mandatory to wear a helmet when riding with BCCClub. - Download the Application and Liability Waver, complete the form and mail it in. - Set your alarm clock and join us Saturday or Sunday Morning !

The 2009 Audi Hearst Castle Challenge was a huge success! The B4 Team raised over $29,000 and had a great time cycling down Pacific Coast Highway to the Hearst Castle! Join us next year for two rides. We have a B4 Team for the Hyannis Port ride on June 5, 2010 and a B4 Team for the Hearst Castle ride on September 11, 2010. It will be the ride of your life!
